Ever tried to do team event where you couldn't actually see your teammates? It can be tough. To stay in the draft on the Computrainer system you must maintain a distance of 6-16 feet behind the rider in front of you. The problem... unlike on the road you cant see the rider in front of you. You must pay close attention to a little red number on the screen, and the numbers of those in front of and behind you, in order to work together. This proved to be a challenging task but hopefully a good team building exercise.
At Saturday's final Marian University indoor time trial three squads of four riders from Team Indiebike.com p/b Angie's List joined forces against three competing squads from the Marian University Cycling Team. The results were just about even with Team Indiebike taking the top spot with a time of 23:12.8 over 10 miles. That's an average of just over 25.8mph.
